my dad sent me an email and this was the entire context of the email:

please keep up with your Xanga, every often, as you can.

it's really fun to read, and see what you are doing.

thanks.

love you.

dad.

so... to kick off the new year right... (instead of working while at work,) i'm going to post a quick xanga update.

Last night I had a dream that a bunch of church and school friends were on a navy duty trip with me in the Dominican Republic.  We were supposed to follow this Captain as we were walking through the streets but then some church friends and I realized that we were close to where our Compassion sponsor children live, so we ditched the group and went looking for the Compassion kids. I was frantically looking for my child, Maichor, and I was so excited to see him, but I couldn't find him. I remember Susanna and Gloria were both in the dream and they were also looking for their kids.
Crazy thing is that it has REALLY been on my heart lately to write more to Maichor.  Before I started to sponsor him I was incredibly convicted time after time that I was supposed to take action in sponsoring a child. and now that God has given me the resources and the blessings to do so, I feel like I am not being a good steward to this ministry.
my confession: I've sponsored Maichor for about FOUR years now, and I can count on my fingers the amount of times I've written to Him.
my resolution and DUTY to the Lord: write to Maichor at least 10 times this year. Hopefully once a month. KEEP ME ACCOUNTABLE!

I saw Transformers the movie today.  It was freakin' the Craziest most awesomest movie in the whole widest world.  i was having SOOO much fun just watching it.  it was seriously such an AMAZING movie.  i don't want to hype it up... but seriously, i can't help it... it's such an awesome movie.  some thoughts that went through my head while i was watching the movie:
1.) This is the best $10 i've ever spent in my entire life
2.) I have to buy this movie on DVD when it comes out. (i hardly buy any DVDs)
3.) This movie is going to make my top 10 all time favorite movies... which movie is about to get kicked off of my top 10 list?

About an hour ago my boss walked in the office a little late and REALLY angry.    Someone asked him how he was, and his only response was, "life sucks and then you die."  How many people live their lives with this attitude?  How many people live a life lost in darkness and never discover who He is?  I have a lot of thoughts about this, but I must get back to work.  I just wanted to write down these few sentences so that I don't forget what I heard this morning...

Today at lunch, I am going to start going through Rick Warren's, Purpose Driven Life.  I really hope God blesses the time that my collegue and I spend together in fellowship during our lunch meetings.

wow, and hello mr. xanga man.  it's been a loooooong time.  The last time i updated was in October of 06?!?!? and before that was in JUNE OF 2006?!?!?  that's crazy.  so minus the 3 sentences i posted in October, it's been about a year since i've paid my visit to the xanga world.  you won't believe this either... (and my college roommate, david yi, REALLY won't believe this,)  but i haven't been on AIM for even LONGER.  I haven't been on AIM since before studying for license exams, which makes it over one YEAR now!!  Oh that little nifty mr. AIM how i miss you so...

ANYWAYS, welcome back michael hahn, to the world of being consumed by such time wasting inventions such as XANGA!

SOOOO... as ya'll know, I have made an interesting decision to come back to NY and work.  If i think of it in a "glass half empty" way, i make a horrible decision every single day by waking up in NY and not in California.  Way to start my days everyday huh?  on a "glass half full" perspective, I do like my job very much and I love my church and the people who are there.

Since it's pretty much been a year now, i guess i can say a few things have happened here and there, so i'll give another brief breakdown of life after license exams.  and i'll throw in some pictures from graduation too... (cuz i forgot to do that last time.)

hold on to your boots nice and tight, and don't get too excited...

PASSED LICENSE!! this is the senior class running to the pool after the change-of-command ceremony.

then, I GRADUATED! and as i posted before, the President (who was liked a lot more last year than he is this year,) came and spoke for my graduation...

This part of my life, after graduating, is where China fits in.  The best mission trip i've been on, but i don't have any of the pictures right now, so those will still have to come a bit later.

THEN... i started working... that's about all i have to say about that.

THEN... my brother, DANNY, and Clara Kim got married!! (i dont know why the spacing on the pictures is like this... aaron.)

This last summer was AWESOME.  big highlights: I graduated and I went to china on missions. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to post about that and show some pictures, so that will come soon enough.

For now, i just want to update the world that I started a new job in New York.  I'm working for TBS International. (www.tbsship.com) Great company, i love it, great people, hard work, but VERY interesting.  It's been one week and so far so good.
